Peggy McLean is the founder of 100 Women Who Care Mirmaichi.
Peggy is known in the community as a community advocate who is strong and involved, and a woman that wants the best for everyone. She is a business owner as a Mortgage Broker with Mortgage Alliance for the past 13 years. She is also the proud wife, mother to three beautiful children, mother-in-law, and grandmother.

Living in Miramichi for 27 years, she is invested in her community volunteering for more than 25 years. Whether for the Josie Foundation as Vice-President, Board Member of Hospice Miramichi, Committee Member of Canada's Irish Festival on the Miramichi, as well as member of the Rotary Club of Chatham. she is committed to make Miramichi a thriving community.

With her experience as a former City Councillor, Entrepreneur, Community Volunteer, she will offer a strong skill set that will bring new perspective and positive solutions to the challenges facing the community. She believes that we have so many opportunities to build and grow this community for future generations.

Peggy knows that Miramichi is a community with a huge heart and women who care. She also knows that there are women who want to contribute in a meanighful way, but don't have the time to devote to sit on a Board or attend monthly meetings. With 100 Women Who Care Miramichi, she hopes to allow all women the opportunity to come together for one hour, four times a year to make a powerful impact on the causes that are near and dear to them.
