Winner of 100 Women Who Care Miramichi

It was a great evening for our thirth meeting for 100 Women Who Care Miramichi.
Congratulations to Miramichi Food Bank who went home with $3,600. Murray Allan was on hand to speak about the Food Bank and accept the funds that will go to great use in our community. Congratulations also to Girl Guides of Canada Coastal Area and Volunteer Miramichi who shared the important work that they do in Miramichi.

It was a great evening for our second meeting for 100 Women Who Care Miramichi.
Congratulations to Miramichi Youth House who went home with $3,500 and to Camp Sheldrake and The Josie Foundation who were able to tell our women about the wonderful work they do in our community. We also heard from Patty on behalf of the Emergency Shelter for Women who shared what they were able to do with the funds they received from our last meeting.

We had our first meeting and the three charities that presented were the Miramichi SPCA, Hospice Miramichi and the Miramichi Emergency Center for Women. Our first benefactor was the Miramichi Emergency Centre for Women. They received a combined donation of $2,900.
